Victor
Hugo was a man of several talents. Although generally known as a
novelist and a poet, he was also an artist, playwright, essayist, etc.
He was born Victor-Marie Hugo in the city of Besançon on the 26th
February of 1802 and died in the spring of 1885. His most celebrated
works are probably Les Misérables, Notre-Dame de
Paris and Hernani.
To me, Ninety-Three is the most beautiful book he
wrote.
